The Blondey McCoy x Superstar “Black” is a January 2021 collaboration between the London based skater and . The Blondey and partnership began in December 2019 when the former Palace skate team member introduced the highly covetable “White” see-through Superstar bearing his namesake. As for the design of the aptly named “Black” colorway seen there, a smoky translucent upper features the Superstar’s original white leather Three Stripes branding on either side and a vulcanized rubber shell toe optimized for skating. “Blondey” insignia appears in place of the gold foil Superstar branding found on the standard Superstar model and detailing is printed on the heel overlay. The eyelets and tongue feature a black leather construction that affords an elevated look to the shoe. Underfoot, a grippy black rubber sole provides the wearer with optimal board feel for skating.
